Although Aviator Nation's retro beach essentials are practically synonymous with Cali's coastal-cool lifestyle, it had yet to make a splash in the OC — that is, until last week, when the LA-based basics brand officially opened its fourth SoCal shop in Laguna Beach.
The GQ-approved label's 800-square-foot boutique is decked out in designer Paige Mycoskie's (yep, TOMS founder Blake's cool sister) '70s-happy surf shack vibes. In addition to colorful retro hoodies, graphic tees, surfboards and accessories, and more, the kaleidoscopic shop stocks Aviator Nation's new swimwear, workout apparel, and outerwear collections.
Interior decor highlights include whitewashed floors and and ceilings, exposed wood beams, a cool bohemian hangout den (complete with a rattan hanging chair), vintage surfboards, and wall art handpainted by Mycoskie herself. See it all for yourself and scroll through the gallery above.
Aviator Nation is open Monday through Thursday from 9:30am to 6pm and Friday through Sunday from 9am to 7pm.
